4 Students of Mozampur High School, Malda in Merit list announced by WBBSE

Mozampur of Kaliachak again in the news title. Four students are named in the merit list of the state in Madhyamik. They are students of Mojampur Haji Sheikh Subhani Biswas High School. Mazampur was once known as the village of bullets & bombs.

Shahabuddin Ali sixth rank in merit list, jointly ninth ank Bishal Chandra Mandal and Aminul Islam and tenth rank Vishal Mandal gave secondary examination from Mojampur High School. They studied at a private mission in Kaliachak. Missions are flourishing across Kaliachak, the education sector claims. Secondary registration of mission students is done from government schools. This year 317 students appeared from Mojampur High School. Out of them 297 passed. 168 passed in first division. Last year also this school was named in the state merit list of Madhyamik. The school authorities claim that there are 27 June teachers in the school. There are three teachers in the list of jobless teachers ordered by the Calcutta High Court. Still, the school's success is striking. Mohammad Shamim Akhter, Headmaster of Mazampur High School said, "The impact of the mission is right across Kaliachak. The merit list students used to study in the mission. Our teachers also work hard. There are three exams before secondary school."

Wazir Ali, head teacher of a private school in Kaliachak said, "The name of Kaliachak really comes to mind of the criminal world. Missions continue to motivate students. It is successful." Saifuddin Ahmed , father of Shahabuddin said, "In the missions, the accommodation and meals are like boarding schools. There is not much opportunity to interact with the outside world. Therefore, the children develop interest in education."

Meanwhile, as soon as the names of the four people from Merit list in district came up, the leaders and activists started congratulating them from the candidates of various political parties. Isha Khan Chowdhury, the Congress candidate from Malda South, was busy campaigning in Manikchak when the results of Madhyamik were announced. Hyge called them and congratulated them. Isha said, "I have called four students and congratulated them. I will welcome them when I get a chance."

Malda South Trinamool Congress candidate Shahnawaz Ali Raihan congratulated the four students over the phone. He was also campaigning when the results were released. Shahnaz said "Many people try to tarnish Kaliachak. But in reality, many students from Kaliachak are getting opportunities to study medical, engineering and are topping the merit list in various exams. So I congratulate the students."
